For the third consecutive year, SALDEF is bringing together a diverse group of Sikh American writers, filmmakers, journalists, and creators in Southern California to support and empower individuals to claim their place in media. This year, Sikhs in Storytelling expands to Los Angeles, launching a new media track rooted in the local community and highlighting the city’s role as a global creative hub. The initiative reflects SALDEF’s 30-year commitment to showing that advocacy and storytelling are deeply interconnected and essential to advancing Sikh American representation.
