On September 8, 2025, the Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience (APFE), in partnership with Reel Asian and Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF), hosted the 2025 Reel Asian TIFF Reception during the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, welcoming over 460 attendees. The standing-room-only event featured remarks by Reel Asian Founder Anita Lee and actor Andrew Phung, followed by a networking mixer with food and drinks provided by hospitality partners.
